Our composer this month is Vivaldi. Vivaldi was a composer and a violin teacher. He wrote music in what we call the Baroque Era.
If you listen in our classroom this month, you’ll likely hear some famous classical pieces by Vivaldi, which have also been used in television, film, commercials, and even cartoons!

Pyotr Il’ich Tchaikovsky is famous for many kinds of classical music, such as symphonies and overtures. However, he is most famous for his ballets, such as the Nutcracker Suite and Swan Lake.
Listen closely in our classroom this month, and you might just hear some pieces of music that remind you of Christmas! That’s because these ballets are usually performed during the holiday season.
Mrs. Yakhnenko’s personal favorite on the playlist: Violin Concerto in D Major Finale: Allegro Vivacissimo 🙂
