Poetry Selections for Recitation (enrichment)

You may wish to enrich your child’s education with poetry! Children in fourth grade are able to memorize poetry and begin learning how to perform it for others. I used to participate in poetry competitions as a child, but I’m not sure if they do that sort of thing these days. If you hear of anything like that which could fit with our school culture and enrich student experience with poetry, please let me know so I can pass it along to the office!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Yakhnenko
